Nurses are very friendly, caring and go out of their ways to make sure that the patients get the best care from them especially nurses like "Schica" "Willow" Aideen. All the nurses and nursing staff are very helpful and caring towards all patients. They are very dedicated to their jobs.

My nurse Wilhelmina took great care of me throughout the night making sure I was pain free. She also got me washed and out of bed first thing in the morning. My nurse Katherine and Abhilash were also excellent care providers. The team in the ICU and the high dependency unit went above and beyond and I felt safe and cared for throughout my stay.

Review of Critical Care Unit - St Peters written by a family member
14th September 2019

Wonderful staff in resuscitation (A&E) on 12 August, then also in AMU (13th) and swift ward particularly, since 13 August. Very sensitive to put my dying father in a side room. The need for palliative care and morphine (oxocetin?) was understood at the right time. Staff have been thoughtful to me as the only family member. The only curiosity was how the scans (10/11 July) produced a prognosis at the 6 August oncology clinic (Dr Mehta) that my father's cancer gave him a likely "2 1/2-3 years" to live (if he didn't die of something else first). That's not a 'complaint', but is perhaps something for the oncology team to think about.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff. In Endoscopy, that made it a pleasant experience including the reception, nursing care and theatre staff. They made me very reassured, explaining each procedure, sensitive to my care, especially in the treatment on the theatre. Thank you so much. An example of the NHS at its best!!!.
